Sugar Plums was born from a dream of creating a magical place where families with young children could play, connect and make memories together. As a mum of two little ones, I know how special it is to watch children discover the world around them, and I believe play is one of the most powerful ways they learn.
After fifteen years working with children, and two maternity leaves spent searching for calm, welcoming places to spend time with my own children, I decided to create the space I wished I'd found. A place where wee ones can play freely and parents feel at home. A place for relaxation, exploration and discovery, and a good cup of coffee!

Inspired by my love of fairytales and my time living in France, Sugar Plums brings together storybook-inspired play, thoughtfully planned classes and a beautiful café designed for grown-ups as much as little ones. From the ever-changing adventures of the Ramble Room to the cosy Snuggery, every detail has been carefully chosen to create a warm and welcoming experience.
Whether you're joining us for play, a class, a celebration or simply coffee and brunch with friends, I hope Sugar Plums becomes a place your family loves to return to.
